Coaching within a Framework

Our approach is based on a framework consisting of the Eight (8) Dimensions of Wellness, along with an exploration of character strengths and values, as well as S.M.A.R.T.E.R. goal setting.

It’s worth noting that the framework is just that – a framework that is there to guide our coaching sessions – recognizing there’s room to flex based upon the results of our time together.

We host a free 30-minute exploratory call to enable you to get more information about our coaching approach and services and for you to share your needs with us. That allows us time to determine how we might be able to help you and how we can best work together.

Enter Stage Left

jonathan miller bio photo

As a young stroke survivor, Jonathan Miller founded Enter Stage Left to help others in similar situations and to educate professionals on how to better work with the patients who need them.

From personal experience, he found there was too often a gap between the practices introduced in hospitals or during therapy and what survivors need in real-life settings. Research supports his experience.

At Enter Stage Left, we are professional coaches offering services and resources based on S.M.A.R.T.E.R. Wellness Planning that focuses on The Person Behind the Patient.

Jonathan Miller’s attitude towards life after stroke embodies the type of attitude I strive to live with every day.  This attitude is one of positivity and looking forward, not looking back.  Jonathan smiles more than anyone I know, and his enthusiasm for life is infectious.  You would be hard-pressed to meet a more driven and genuine person; qualities that have only intensified in Jonathan’s life after stroke.

John Guillama, PT, DPT

Jonathan delivered a very encouraging message about the word, “perseverance,” to the student body of the school where I teach. He took a lot of time preparing his message so that it was suitable for his audience and in turn, engaged everyone in the room. His message of being persistent, determined, and most importantly, never giving up, is still remembered months later. He is truly an inspiration!

Jenna Moschella

I’ve known Jonathan and have followed his journey over the past four years.  He has worked with my team in the lab assisting with our research in neurorehabilitation here at Penn State University. He has always been a trooper in providing insight and data as we strive to understand the human brain as it deals with paralysis. His story is both impactful and inspirational to the entire TBI community.

Robert Sainburg

Jonathan and I were fraternity brothers at Penn State University.  I always remember his high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, go big or go home personality in those times. As I continue on the journey of friendship with Jonathan, I always feel he has such a wonderful love for life despite any and all challenges that are thrown at him. Personally and professionally, his strides in recovery continue to inspire me and will soon do so for the world.
